In 2008 our trade fair team stayed on board of a hotelship for the first time. The ship – the River Princess – was absolutely lovely. Everything went as planned and the staff were extremely polite. “Egmont – one of the largest media groups in Scandinavia – have been using Crossgates hotel accommodation for over 10 years, for the annual Book Fair in Frankfurt.

We book an average of 120 rooms for our colleagues, who represent Egmont companies from over 20 countries worldwide.
We always book one whole ship for our group plus some cabins in one of the other ships moored nearby. It creates a good opportunity for Egmont colleagues to meet and socialize in a relaxed atmosphere.
We appreciate the convenient location in the centre of Frankfurt. The rates are considerably lower than hotels of a similar standard.
We have always been happy to work with Crossgates and appreciate the good service we receive – for example the shuttle bus to and from the fair and airport, as well as the helpful staff onboard the ships.”

“ITW has stayed with Crossgates many times during the Practical World Trade Fair in Cologne.
We prefer hotelships over “normal” hotels because Crossgates’ hotelships are usually moored just outside the fair grounds. They offer us the unique opportunity to have the whole company together on the same boat.
The hotelships provide a good standard of accommodation at cost effective prices, and the chance to hold meetings in the dining room or bar, which is a great plus.
Crossgates’ team is very reactive and pro-active. It is nice to be able to rely on them, especially when ITW’s organiser cannot be there in person. It is easy to see that the efficient team is used to this type of event.
