The Swiss Fleet

Owned and operated from Basel in Switzerland, the Swiss Fleet maintains the high standards of service for which its country is renowned. The ships’ style is very traditional, with an emphasis on brass, wood, stylish textiles and engraved glass. However, traditional does not mean old-fashioned: the Swiss owners are constantly renewing and upgrading the fleet. Crossgates regularly hires the hotelships Swiss Corona, Swiss Crown, Swiss Pearl, Swiss Diamond, Swiss Crystal, Swiss Coral, Swiss Ruby, Switzerland and Saxonia.

Guest Facilities

The restaurant service and cuisine on board the Swiss Fleet is particularly good. The traditional style bars and lounges encourage guests to enjoy a relaxing sun-downer after a busy day at the Fair and serve drinks into the early hours. Complimentary hors d’ouevres are provided in the early evening – after an aperitif you may like to enjoy a meal onboard from the A La Carte menu. The restaurant offers an extensive hot and cold breakfast buffet. Banquet services are available on request.

Cabin Facilities

All cabins are situated on the out side of the vessel. They contain twin or double beds, with private shower and WC. They are equipped with adjustable air-conditioning, direct dial telephones and colour TV, video channel, minibar, safe and hairdryer.
